Professional Development Plan

The curriculum and experiences of the CSP program are intentionally structured to ensure students develop the competencies and knowledge that will foster their success as effective student affairs practitioners.  After graduation it becomes solely the individual’s responsibility to continuously learn, develop, and enhance professional values, knowledge, and competence.  As such, I have developed this professional development plan to outline the knowledge and competency areas I wish to develop within my first three years as a student affairs professional.  Although I hope to continually develop all competencies and a wide variety of knowledge areas, the included areas are those that I have identified as significant limitations and gaps in my current skills and knowledge.

  • Strategic Enrollment Management
  • Greek Life
  • Non-traditional Students
  • Community Colleges
